Japan on a revenge mission against Colombia

Japan will be seeking for revenge against Colombia whom they faced in the 2014 World cup and lost by 4 goals to 1 when these two sides clash today
in a Group H encounter of the World Cup in Russia.

Colombia will welcome back Bayern Munich winger James Rodriguez who had a muscle problem but is now fit to play.

Rodriguez was Colombia’s top scorer in the 2018 qualifiers and all-time at the World Cup, and has been directly involved in eight of his team's last 10 goals at the World cup finals with six goals and two assists.

Japan has won only two of its last 11 World Cup games against Cameroon and Denmark in June 2010.It has also won just one of five opening games in the competition against Cameroon in 2010.
