Diego Costa ready to Sparkle!

Atletico Madrid attacker Diego Costa will be seeking to increase his tally of goals in the World Cup on Wednesday when Spain takes on Iran in a group B encounter.

Costa scored twice as Spain settled for a 3-3 draw with Portugal in their group opener where Christiano Ronaldo registered a Hat trick. Spain head coach Fernando Hierro gave Costa the nod in his starting line-up ahead of Iago Aspas, Lucas Vazquez and Rodrigo.

Spain have the only significant piece of team news entering the midweek meeting with Iran after it emerged Real Madrid right-back Dani Carvajal will likely be fit to feature in his first match of the World Cup.

In other World Cup matches that will be played,
Portugal will entertain Morocco while Uruguay lock horns with Saudi Arabia. Saudi lost to hosts Russia by 5 goals to nil in their group opener while Morocco lost to Iran by a solitary goal.
